ERCP – Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ECRP) is a procedure to examine the pancreatic and bile ducts. ECRP is typically used when a patient’s bile or pancreatic ducts may be blocked due to the following: Tumors, Infection, Inflammation due to trauma or illness, Gallstones that become stuck in the ducts, Sphincters disorders, Ducts Sclerosis, Buildups of fluid and tissue debris.
